Install Safa for Chrome

Requirements

• Google Chrome (version 109 or later)
• No account required

Steps

1. Open the Safa listing on the Chrome Web Store (link active after store submission)
2. Click Add to Chrome
3. In the confirmation dialog, click Add extension
4. The Safa icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar

That's it. Safa is active immediately with the Normal profile and balanced defaults.

First use

• Click the Safa toolbar icon to open the popup
• Toggle Safa on or off globally with the switch at the top
• Change your blocking profile with the profile selector
• Whitelist the current site with the domain toggle if a site breaks

Options page

For advanced settings — allowlist editor, custom blocklist, profile tuning, import/export — right-click the toolbar icon and choose Options, or open it from the popup.

Uninstall

Right-click the Safa toolbar icon → Remove from Chrome. All local settings are deleted automatically.
